How to play:

Buy parts, install them on your ship and get back to Earth before the fuel runs out!

This game is made for Pizza Jam 2023. It was made based on the sentence: "Protect this Galactic Boy's Dreams!"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In year 2xxx, a large meteorite struck the Earth, causing an ice age that lasted for hundreds of years and forcing every resident to flee to another galaxy.

You are a human-born on that galaxy - which is thousand light-years away from the Earth. As a kid, you were told various stories about it and always dreamed of visiting your homeland.

Now, as you have grown up and become a spaceship engineer, your life's goal is to build a spaceship based on the given parts and get back to Earth before your fuel runs out.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An error may occur when the web version is played (it can't load into the game), so I recommend downloading the Windows version instead.

Any feedbacks about the game, please drop a comment down below. I would be more than happy to read them!

I WAITED FOR GAME LIKE FTL AND IT FINALLY CAME

Yay I did it and got to earth!! I like games like this where you're building out a plot of land, since I was on default easy mode I just did what was best as I went along. Would probably need to be more strategic in higher levels.

At first I wasn't sure what to do, especially with the random zoom, wondered if there was something in the environment. But eventually I just hovered over everything to figure it out!

Thanks for playing the game, glad you enjoyed it :3

Really good! How did you balance the game? By playing it or you did some excel?

(+1)

Actually we didn't have the time for balancing at all :). We just slapped some numbers that feel logical at the time. Fortunately, the game still feel challenging and not very unbalanced when we released the game

Hi, it's absolutly phenomenal game! I've got just one question: is it possible to skip a turn and just don't build anything?

(1 edit)

You can right click a part in the shop and turn it into a Storage part. Storage parts are free so placing a storage part will almost be like skipping a turn.

Or do you think skipping a turn entirely will lead to more interesting choices for the player? We want placing a Storage part will be the default goto choice when you're low on Scrap.

No, I was EXPECTING that somewhere is the way to do it (it might be of course interesting too)

Great game. Nice music/sounds also.
